The industry we operate in is often referred to as Property Management Software (PMS), focusing on managing tasks necessary for coordinating bookings, communicating with guests and staff, using AI to set prices, and handling virtual paperwork like contracts and invoicing.

Job Description

We are seeking an Account Executive to pursue warm and cold leads and complement our digital marketing efforts by reaching new audiences. This role will work closely with senior management to identify and test sales strategies, helping build the playbook for our direct sales efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop business opportunities through dedicated prospecting
  • Develop a sales plan, execute it, and maintain a sales forecast
  • Commit to our goals and success metrics, concentrating efforts on meeting them
  • Manage complete and complex sales cycles, nurturing developing accounts through 'land & expand'
  • Incorporate customer perspective, drivers, and product/service relevancy to deliver persuasive client presentations
  • Understand competing products in the market to the degree necessary to close deals
  • Own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, including documenting a repeatable process and introducing effective tools
  • Manage prospect communication and pipeline
  • May make a case for vendor software if appropriate
  • Represent the voice of the customer based on their feedback and analysis
  • The role is 100% telecommuting, allowing many deals to be closed remotely, though large prospects may require site visits at any worldwide location

Experience and Skills:

We are looking for candidates with 2-3+ years of sales experience, demonstrating success with quotas or targets. Experience in software solutions (SaaS), travel industry, or technology is a plus. Successful candidates should have demonstrated success in past positions, working towards specific goals and showing dedication and focus. They should also be able to manage and structure multi-product deals, closing businesses with different business models. Previous sales methodology training is desired, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills, team building leadership, and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements concurrently. Adaptability and the ability to connect with people from diverse cultures are essential. Fluency in English is required, with additional languages being a significant advantage.
