About the role
We’re seeking a qualified sales manager who can help keep this engine running with their own sales skills as well as leadership of a team of driven sales representatives and field clinical specialist. This role is responsible for the development & adoption of the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing with the entire health ecosystem in Costa Rica.
This role is responsible for ensuring the assigned territory meets or exceeds sales objectives and working in partnership with the senior executive team, to develop a fully detailed region Business Strategy to include stated objectives and action plans, inclusive of the market mapping, identifying potential gaps and exploiting new opportunities.
We’re looking for a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills — someone with a successful track record who can inspire the same performance in others. The role demands a leader who has a sharp mind and an ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives while building and maintaining a high-performance team.
What we are looking for in you
Required qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience in managing sales in a corporate setting
- Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Leadership ability
- Leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively
- Ability to design and implement innovative solutions for public sector challenges
- Vast knowledge of public sector in Costa Rica, including its legal framework, institutions, policies, and stakeholders
- Biomedical Engineer, business Administration.
- Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
- Understand Forecasting process and P&L process.
- Knowledge of Demand generation process.
- Others: Excel, Sales Force Tableau.
- English B2.
- Emotional intelligence
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA
- Experience and knowledge of public sector in Costa Rica.
- Experience in similar companies
