Job Summary

IBM is seeking a skilled Technical Support Professional to join its Data and AI team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with DBs, Linux environments, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand client concerns, define problem scope, and manage expectations.
  • Utilize technical and negotiation skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Communicate updates and action plans to customers and IBM representatives.
  • Adhere to SLAs, improve response and resolution time, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Required Skills
  • Programming knowledge, troubleshooting, and negotiation skills.
  • Linux, databases, and open-source technologies.
  • 2+ years of experience working with DBs, SQL engine, federation, and query optimization.
  • 1+ year of experience working with Linux environments.

Preferred Skills
  • 2-5 years of experience as a DBA/Backend developer with strong SQL engine knowledge.
  • 3+ years of experience working on Linux operating systems in server environments.
  • Experience with deploying or supporting databases on public cloud platforms.
  • Container technologies knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
