At TD SYNNEX-Shyft Global Services, a Sales Executive Manager plays a pivotal role in developing long-term sales strategies. This individual oversees the development of current supervisors and sales representatives, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles. The Sales Executive Manager also participates in strategic division initiatives, fostering cross-departmental teamwork and communication. They provide department-wide direction in support of the division's long-term strategies, ensuring timely completion of all projects and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop and execute annual business plans.
  • Assign quarterly sales goals by territory, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives.
  • Develop quarterly plans with outside sales for territory development, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Present quarterly business plans at team level, providing clear and concise updates on progress and challenges.
  • Manage 100% attainment of Sales and corporate special goals, driving results-oriented performance.
  • Maintain excellent customer and vendor relationships, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Interface with departmental Director to ensure cross-corporate teamwork, promoting a culture of collaboration and mutual support.
  • Oversee strategic projects for division growth, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.
  • Provide sales with the tools needed to succeed, including slippage reports, Credit Utilization, descending reports, new Customers reports, leads, and customer focuses, and the process to utilize them.
  • Develop motivational strategies and TD Monthly/Quarterly sales promotions, working closely with PM and Vendors to drive results.
  • Oversee Employee Development activities, including quarterly one-on-one 'feedback' meetings with all employees, quarterly service observations, and reward and recognition programs for top employees.
  • Set up meetings with support departments and hold sales and staff meetings to improve communication within the department.
  • Respond to escalated customer issues to ensure satisfactory resolution, providing timely and effective support.
  • Address escalated personnel issues prior to HR involvement, ensuring timely resolution of employee issues and consistent actions across regions.

  • Working knowledge of systems/applications, including experience with software and technology.

  • Advanced level of judgment and decision-making, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • 4-year degree; and 5-7 years relevant sales management experience, with a proven track record of success.
