Overview
As a Customer Support Associate at MicroPort Orthopedics S.A., you will play a vital role in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers. This position requires continuous interaction with various departments, distribution networks, carriers, and internal management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend training sessions and seminars to stay updated on new products and procedures.
- Participate in daily operations, including customer support and data entry processing for distributors.
- Ensure compliance with AdvaMed Code of Ethics and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to MPO's policy on records retention and security.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience or related field.
- Familiarity with JDE Order Entry/Inventory System is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and data entry skills are essential.
Working Conditions
This role involves working independently with minimal supervision. A high degree of interpersonal relationship skills is necessary to effectively meet customer requirements. The ability to cover data entry processing for distributors not online with JDE is also required.
Accountability
The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting deadlines and maintaining operational work flow requirements. Limited responsibility for others is involved. Access to customer invoices, statements, and product information is provided. The utmost trust, leadership, initiative, and responsiveness are expected for this role.
Performance Metrics
- Improving error rates below 1% within a certain timeframe is a key performance indicator.
- Maintaining acceptable error rates ensures customer satisfaction and minimizes operational expenses.
Education and Experience
- History of working in a medical device environment is beneficial.
- A background in sales or customer-facing roles is also advantageous.
Special Skills and Knowledge
- Critical thinking and sound judgment regarding customer satisfaction and company requirements are crucial.
- Independent problem-solving and excellent communication skills are must-haves for this position.
