**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Travel Coordinator and Administrative Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, California. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating travel arrangements, managing travel expenses, and providing administrative support.
**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate travel itineraries for employees, ensuring timely arrivals and departures, and booking accommodations within budget guidelines.
- Manage travel expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Negotiate contracts with travel service providers, ensuring optimal pricing and quality.
- Suggest improvements and innovations in our travel programs.
**Requirements**
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for this role.
- Familiarity with booking travel within the United States, major US cities, and airports, as well as travel to international destinations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on cost management and traveler satisfaction.
- College diploma required; professional travel training certification highly desirable.
- 3+ years' experience in a travel agency or large corporate travel department preferred.
**Additional Information**
This position requires strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office (MS-Word, Excel) and calendaring functions of Microsoft Outlook. Knowledge of Concur Expense Management and Travel system is a major plus, as is knowledge of QuickBooks.
