Sales Director for Small Business Growth

This role requires a Senior Sales Manager for our Small and Medium Business (SMB) team. As a leader, you will be responsible for driving customer engagement and adoption for an innovative company in supply chain.
The successful candidate will have 5-10+ years of management experience leading a sales team, preferably an SMB sales team. They should also have 5+ years of sales experience selling to SMBs ($25-50MM) and 3+ years of sales experience selling to procurement roles or similar decision-makers for SMBs.
You will lead a team of Sales People Managers who are in charge of Customer Advisors & Account Representatives engaging with Small and Medium Businesses. Your responsibilities will include go-to-market acquisition, creating management plans, and taking ownership of all verticals within the commercial sector.
You will determine the best go-to-market approach for SMBs, including direction for solution/product development and services. You will also take lead on hiring open positions on the team and develop and nurture Customer Advisors as they improve their skills, processes, and tools.
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will represent the Voice of the Customer by working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Operations, Professional Services, and Product/Tech teams. A strong relationship with Marketing is essential, so experience here is a plus.
You will direct various business management functions for the success of your team, including marketing, product development, supply sourcing, and more. This role requires availability to travel for internal business presentations and customer meetings outside Costa Rica.
