Technical Support Specialist for Enterprise Applications

Company Overview
Citi, a leading global bank, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing technical and business support for users of Citi Applications.
Job Summary
We are offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, for this exciting opportunity. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for application-related issues, providing timely and effective resolutions to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality, and functionality against service level expectations.
- Perform same day risk reconciliations and identify ways to maximize the potential of the applications used.
- Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate to business and technology management in a timely manner.
- Participate in application releases, from development, testing, and deployment into production.
- Act as a liaison between users/traders, interfacing internal technology groups and vendors.
- Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in an Application Support role.
- Experience installing, configuring, or supporting business applications.
- Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization.
- Effective written and verbal communications, including the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and issue tracking and reporting using tools.
