Senior Technical Support Specialist for Modern Applications

**Job Overview**:
Citi seeks a skilled and experienced technical support specialist to join our team in supporting modern applications. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical support documentation to ensure that all relevant information is readily available to team members and stakeholders.
- Perform daily checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handovers to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Adhere to established Service Level Agreements while promptly raising problems to relevant technology and business teams.
- Conduct same-day risk reconciliations to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Apply a sharp risk lens when assessing production issues, considering their impact on the organization, and escalating them to business and technology management in a timely manner.
- Serve as a liaison between internal technology groups, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate storage and archiving procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Application Support role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- A primary skill set that includes at least two of the following: ECS (Open Shift), Kibana, Oracle, Unix Shell Scripting.
- A secondary skill set that includes Bigdata (Arcadia, Impala), Autosys scheduling, ServiceNow, SQL.
- Experience with programming languages and a willingness/ability to learn new technologies.
- Advanced execution capabilities, including adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues in simple terms that non-technical staff can understand.
- The ability to share information effectively with other support team members and technology teams.
- A bachelor's/university degree or equivalent experience.
- Intermediate/advanced English language proficiency.
