Information Technology Support Specialist

Medbill seeks a skilled IT Support Technician to provide second-level technical support for technology with our MSP client organizations. This role requires shared responsibility for front-line helpdesk support and handling support escalations.
Main Responsibilities
- Shared responsibility for front-line helpdesk support.
- Handle support escalations.
- Assist with remote computer deployments.
- Perform desktop troubleshooting.
- IT project planning and consulting for Medbill and her clients.
- Install and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls and VPN.
- SQL Database maintenance.
- Interface with vendors for purchases and support incidents.
- Management/Support for Azure resources.
- Perform IT Security tasks such as SOC responses to SIEM and EDR tools.
- Perform security hardening of servers and workstations.
- Assist with IT-related compliance for HIPAA standards.
- Develop SOPs to streamline support processes.
- Produce documentation for processes and solutions.
Requirements
We are seeking a candidate with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent and customer service experience. Key competencies include well-organized time management, excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking, excellent customer service, and ability to work well in a team and provide knowledge transfer to other team members.
Technical Requirements
- Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.
- M Microsoft Windows / Office 365.
- Windows Server 2012+.
- Network Concepts (DNS, DHCP, Routing, Firewalls, VPN).
- Security Operations.
- Disaster recovery and Business Continuity planning and testing.
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $3,000,000 - $4,000,000 per month.
