Senior Customer Success Engineer

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our team, working on end-to-end customer experience. This position involves collaborating with various teams to resolve customer technical issues, leveraging troubleshooting tools and best practices.
ResponsibilitiesOur ideal candidate will:
- Investigate and resolve complex customer technical issues by collaborating within and across teams and utilizing advanced troubleshooting tools and techniques.
- Participate in community-building initiatives with peer delivery roles to enhance collective knowledge and expertise.
- Develop specialized technical and professional skills through training and readiness programs to enable effective issue resolution.
- Identify potential product defects and provide constructive feedback to senior engineers, contributing to Microsoft's continuous product improvement.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support, consulting, or information technology, or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, accompanied by at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture, particularly Azure or AWS, or experience with SaaS platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and spoken English proficiency.
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools, such as ETL, data warehousing management, data mining, report designer, or developer.
- Familiarity with heterogeneous database management systems like Oracle, MySQL, SAP, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages like C#, DAX, MDX, SQL, Python, and ability to apply thorough troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Candidates with additional qualifications, including:
- Ability to thrive in highly collaborative environments and work effectively in ambiguous situations.
- Background in computer science or engineering.
- Passion for learning advanced BI technologies.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI solutions.
- Knowledge of OLAP, data warehousing, or OLTP, database, and BI reporting.
This role requires the ability to meet Microsoft's security screening requirements, which may include passing a Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire and every two years thereafter. Benefits and perks may vary depending on employment circumstances and location.
