About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Abbott Laboratories in Costa Rica. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the diabetes products market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including hospitals, drug store chains, and wholesalers/logistic operators
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on our FreeStyle Libre system
  • Implement marketing and distribution strategies to ensure sales achievement and market share goals
  • Maintain and increase ADC business within the territory assigned, achieving sales and division margin profiles
  • Establish training programs for drug store dependents to ensure adequate knowledge base for ADC products

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Professional
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in medical call and commercial client negotiations in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation, strong communication and interpersonal skills
