Business Development Manager for Diabetes Products

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Abbott Laboratories in Costa Rica. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the diabetes products market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including hospitals, drug store chains, and wholesalers/logistic operators
- Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on our FreeStyle Libre system
- Implement marketing and distribution strategies to ensure sales achievement and market share goals
- Maintain and increase ADC business within the territory assigned, achieving sales and division margin profiles
- Establish training programs for drug store dependents to ensure adequate knowledge base for ADC products
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Professional
- Minimum 5+ years experience in medical call and commercial client negotiations in the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability in problem-solving and negotiation, strong communication and interpersonal skills
