Amzn Support Srvcs Costa Rica is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Associate II to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical support service requests from Amazon Corporate employees worldwide.
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. As an IT Support Associate II, you will spend your day fielding incoming chats, calls, and online requests, diagnosing and troubleshooting end-user computing problems, and providing basic technical support to Amazon employees.
We are looking for a motivated and innovative individual who can adapt quickly to new processes and procedures while dealing with a high volume of requests. If you have a passion for technology and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support to Amazon Corporate employees via chat, phone, and email
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting of end-user computing problems, including analyzing issues, identifying resources, testing fixes, and following up to ensure resolution
- Creating and submitting detailed call logs documenting customer interactions in a timely and accurate manner
- Informing customers of necessary repairs and answering basic questions, ensuring they understand and are satisfied with work completed
- Following standard operating procedures through effective knowledge management
- Maintaining current knowledge of relevant policies to provide technically accurate solutions to users
- Assisting with activities to triage and escalate system or network outages to reduce downtime
- Providing remote assistance with Teleconferencing systems and AV presentation equipment
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field
- Advanced Linux systems administration skills or certification
- Microsoft MCSE, MCITP Systems Administrator (Active Directory) certifications
- Cisco CCNA certification
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex systems
- Able to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms
- Ability to manage high-priority projects
- Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision
