At Amazon Support Services Costa Rica Srl, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist II to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing technical support to Amazon Corporate employees worldwide, troubleshooting end-user computing problems, and documenting customer interactions.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and resolving complex technical issues. As an IT Support Specialist II, you will work closely with our global team to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support to Amazon Corporate employees, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot end-user computing problems using various tools and techniques
  • Create and submit detailed call logs documenting customer interactions, ensuring accurate and timely recording of issue resolutions
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by actively listening to their concerns, providing clear explanations, and following up on issues as needed
  • Foster strong relationships with customers by communicating effectively, empathetically, and professionally
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, software applications, and hardware devices to provide expert-level support
  • Prioritize tasks efficiently, managing multiple customer requests simultaneously, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows, Mac OS environments, and Linux systems administration
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff and customers
  • Experience working in a help desk or technical support environment, preferably in a multinational corporation
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team setting, collaborating with colleagues across different time zones and cultures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft MCSE, MCITP Systems Administrator (Active Directory) certification
  • Cisco CCNA certification
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security best practices
  • Experience with project management tools, such as JIRA or similar software
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese; additional language skills are a plus
