The Customer Service & Support (CSS) team builds trust and confidence for every person and organization through delivering a seamless support experience. We help customers and partners resolve their issues quickly, prevent future problems from occurring, and demonstrate new ways to achieve more from their Microsoft investment.

In the CSS organization, we are looking for individuals with a passion for delivering customer success as Technical Support Engineers. This role allows you to accelerate your career growth by honing your problem-solving, collaboration, and research skills, and developing your technical proficiency.

This position involves:

  • Responding to and resolving complex customer issues through troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration
  • Ensuring customers stay informed about issue status and solutions
  • Performing in-depth product troubleshooting and remediation
  • Collaborating with cross-team and cross-product resources to resolve moderately complex customer issues

Responsibilities also include assisting in readiness programs such as mentoring, knowledge sharing, technical document creation, and brown bag sessions. You will develop intermediate-level competence on support topics and identify potential product defects to provide feedback to senior engineers.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of technical support, consulting experience, or IT background OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field AND 1+ year(s) of technical support experience
  • Business level fluency in English and Spanish
  • Mastery of Microsoft technology certifications is preferred

You must be able to meet Microsoft security screening requirements, including passing a Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire and every two years thereafter.
