About the Role:

As a Technical Sales Support Specialist at Emerson, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to receive and process customer requests for quotes, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quote Management: Receive and process customer requests for quotes, verifying customer information and ensuring correct and complete quote submissions.
  • Pricing and Lead Times: Provide pricing and lead times through generating proposals, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • Technical Conformance: Review quotes for technical conformance and accuracy, identifying potential issues and escalating to supervisors as necessary.
  • Documentation: Send quote, sizing, and other documentation to customers, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Customer Support: Provide documentation upon request, maintain proficiency in business systems, and point customers to online order status tools.
  • Team Support: Support coverage plans, assist coworkers with tasks, and practice good phone skills for technical sales support calls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of Customer Service, data entry experience, or related experience.
  • Language Skills: English Proficiency Level B2 (Written & Oral).
  • Technical Skills: Work experience with technical products and business-to-business relationships.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
