About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Emerson. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with customers to clarify quotes and orders.
- Perform technical reviews of customer specifications sheets and provide recommended solutions based on budget and requirements.
- Develop quotations based on customer, representative, and Emerson requirements.
- Participate in preparing quotation packages, ensuring timely delivery to stakeholders.
- Foster sales growth by following up on proposals and maintaining excellent relationships with customers.
- Review orders to ensure accurate product selection and compliance with technical requirements and documentation.
- Maintain regulatory compliance, including import/export, contract, and government requirements.
- Provide backup support to colleagues to maintain high service levels.
- Offer consulting support to Order Entry Analysts or Order Management when processing orders.
- Achieve targets in productivity, service levels, and quality.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or currently pursuing an engineering career.
- 1-2 years of sales-related customer service experience (preferred).
- Strong prioritization, organizational skills, and self-motivation.
- A passion for combining technical, customer service, and sales expertise.
- Ability to work flexible shifts based on business needs.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English (oral and written) at B1 level 2.
What We Offer:
As a Technical Support Specialist at Emerson, you can expect:
A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
