About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Manager to lead our Industrials & Field verticals within the commercial sector. As a key member of our Amazon Business team, you will be responsible for driving customer engagement and adoption for our innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of highly skilled Customer Advisors & Account Representatives to engage with Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) from prospecting to strategic account growth.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market acquisition strategies, creating management plans and teams within assigned industry sub-verticals.
  • Take ownership of Industrials & Field verticals, becoming a leading expert on supply chain practices, needs, and opportunities for SMB customers.
  • Determine the best go-to-market approach for Industrials & Field verticals, including direction for solution/product development and services.
  • Lead hiring efforts for open positions on the team and develop and nurture Customer Advisors (sales reps) as they improve their skills, processes, and tools.
  • Participate in customer meetings to support Customer Advisors (sales reps) and represent the Voice of the Customer by working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Operations, Professional Services, and Product/Tech teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Business to Business (B2B) and/or Enterprise sales experience.
  • Proficient in English Language (Written and spoken).
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Working experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale purchasing contracts or software agreements.
  • Experience in positioning and selling innovative solutions to new customers and market segments.
  • Proven experience improving and creating new processes and structure to achieve goals.
  • Experience leading stakeholder engagements and presentations with senior and international leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of management experience of a sales team.
  • 5+ years of sales experience selling to Enterprise ($500MM+) organizations.
  • 3+ years of sales experience selling to procurement roles.
  • Entrepreneurial background with proven ability to deal with ambiguity, pivot quickly, adapt new process and run fast.
