Key Responsibilities:- Leverage in-depth knowledge of Amazon Business's products and services to develop customized quoting solutions that address the specific needs of each customer, enhancing value and satisfaction.
- Engage in solution-selling and digital prospecting tactics to build and manage a book of business, focusing on creating long-term strategic customer relationships.
- Understand and navigate the unique contracting and competitive requirements of diverse institutions, recommending quoting strategies that facilitate seamless procurement integration.
- Work closely with clients across functional areas such as Procurement, IT, Finance, and Facilities to ensure a deep understanding of their procurement processes and develop tailored quoting solutions.
- Coordinate with Amazon resources to ensure that the quoting solutions meet the objectives of both the client and Amazon, fostering successful deployment and adoption of our services.
- Maintain a robust lead pipeline, ensuring consistent lead quantity and quality to achieve territory goals, and actively map Amazon products and services to clients' primary objectives.
- Effectively communicate complex solutions to clients through diverse channels including phone, email, and web platforms, and direct engagement at meetings, tailoring each presentation to address specific client needs and objectives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal operational contacts across departments, ensuring end-to-end communication and coordination across the extended Amazon team.
- Proven track record in consultative sales, with significant experience in developing complex quoting solutions for business clients.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce business models, online marketing tactics, and competitive marketplaces, with the ability to apply this knowledge to the quoting process.
- Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and craft personalized quoting strategies that enhance customer procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with experience working with mid to large size accounts.
- Experience with eProcurement systems, advanced payment solutions, and automated reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of the unique procurement requirements and challenges faced by public institutions and businesses across various industries.
- Leadership experience, with a focus on coaching team members and contributing to lead generation and evaluation strategies.
