">This position is part of our Nutrition Division, based in Costa Rica. Our nutrition business creates innovative, science-backed products for individuals of all ages, from supporting children's growth to maintaining adults' strength and vitality.
">Our leading brands, including Similac, PediaSure, Pedialyte, Ensure, Glucerna, help millions of people worldwide access essential nutrients for a healthy life.
">As a Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in expanding awareness about the importance of nutrition among Healthcare Professionals and showcasing the superiority of Abbott products over competitors.
">Your Key Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Maintain deep knowledge of medical and nutritional science, as well as emerging digital trends, to effectively communicate the value of Abbott products to a wide network of HCPs.">
- Establish target customers, develop clear customer plans, and achieve coverage, frequency, and call rate objectives through multichannel engagement strategies.">
- Implement customer segmentation, identify new leads/customers, and ensure timely reporting of daily activities according to set protocols.">
- Develop and execute multichannel customer engagement plans that drive demand for Abbott brand products and increase market share.">
- Cultivate strong relationships with HCPs throughout the customer account, leveraging existing connections to expand your network.">
- Define and deliver a unique value proposition from the HCP's perspective by continuously uncovering their needs and priorities using various touchpoints and engagement activities.">
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient education regarding nutrition and Abbott brands, influencing customer and patient choice of nutrition products.">
- Ensure compliance with performance indicators related to defined targets and KPIs assigned by the company and District Manager.">
Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.">
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, ideally in the medical or pharmaceutical industry.">
- Excellent sales and scientific product promotion techniques.">
- Broad scientific knowledge and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).">
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required for travel within the country.">
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
