Job Description
The Compensation and Benefits Expert will be responsible for assisting with the administration of employee benefit plans, focusing on Latin America region.
This role requires a strong working knowledge of employee benefits, policies, and procedures, as well as the ability to review complex analytics to resolve employee and vendor issues.
You will engage with third-party vendors, payroll, and legal teams to ensure seamless operations.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to work with multiple deadlines
- Detail-oriented with good interpersonal, communication, and process management skills
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other benefits systems used by the organization
Responsibilities
- Administer various employee benefit programs, including Health & Welfare, Defined benefit, and Defined contribution plans
- Resolve employee benefit issues
- Assist in reviewing company benefit plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations
- Maintain and update benefit plan documents and summary plan descriptions on the Company intranet
- Ensure accuracy of vendor databases using problem-solving skills in reviewing benefit file feeds
- Work closely with senior benefits team on various projects, including implementation and redesign of plans, development of employee communication materials, and annual benefit enrollment
- Conduct new hire employee orientation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, human resources, or related field
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in employee benefits or benefits consulting
- Excellent analytical capabilities with deep experience in analyzing employee and third-party vendor systems data
- Practical knowledge working on issues and problems in a human resources or consulting environment
- Familiarity with a variety of HR concepts, such as leave administration practices and procedures
- Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments
