About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative I to join our team in Zona Franca Coyol, Alajuela. This role will involve working independently with minimal supervision, managing accounts that require special expertise, and facilitating complex customer service requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, verify, and process purchase orders, coordinating the distribution of medical devices to hospitals, sales representatives, and distributors as needed.
  • Research and resolve problems with orders received, correcting the order as necessary and releasing for posting.
  • Communicate inventory shortages and shipping status to sales representatives and customers, providing information on inventory availability for back-ordered items.
  • Perform proactive follow-up with sales representatives and customers to obtain implant information, purchase order numbers, pricing information, and device tracking data to ensure accurate inventory records and timely billing.
  • Obtain approvals, issue, and track returns and credits based on procedures, working with customers to expedite the return process.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including problem-solving, effective communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Record of high accuracy (99.90%) in order processing over the last six months.
  • SAP knowledge required.
  • Ability to multitask, follow up, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%, including internationally.
  • One year of experience in a Customer Service position at Abbott is preferred for internal candidates.
Estimated Salary

$55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
