We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Telecommunication Specialist to join our team at Abbott Laboratories in Alajuela, Costa Rica. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic contact center environment, supporting sales representatives, physicians, and hospital personnel with patient tracking information and troubleshooting procedures.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Telecommunication Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering calls and responding to inquiries from customers, sales representatives, and hospital personnel
  • Pulling up patient tracking information and determining sales representative coverage
  • Sending case information via text message and performing outbound calls to confirm receipt
  • Triage calls with guidance from other personnel when necessary

This role requires a strong communication skill set, knowledge of computer systems, and bilingual language proficiency in English and Spanish.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A high school degree or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, product support, IT, telecommunications, or a related field
  • Fully bilingual language proficiency (English and Spanish)

In addition, having experience in the biotech, bio-instruments, or medical devices industries would be a plus.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
