At Citi, we are seeking an experienced Operations Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday HR system and tools, identifying discrepancies and implementing process improvements.
  • Process high-volume transactions, including rescind, reassignment, and correction requests, requiring elevated Workday system access.
  • Interface with project staff and clients regarding project status and provide guidance on operational processes.
  • Collaborate with business teams to develop process improvements and solutions that enhance operational workflow efficiency.
  • Exercise professional judgment and discretion in resolving complex issues and making informed decisions.
  • Provide training and support to new and lower-level team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive understanding of multiple areas contributing to business objectives, ensuring seamless integration and alignment.
  • Directly impact the business by ensuring quality of work provided by self and others, influencing own team and closely related work teams.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations or HR
  • Working knowledge of Workday and HR concepts, including position management, business processes, and downstream impact on benefits, pay, and other areas
  • High-level knowledge of industry standards and practices
  • Ability to work independently, adjust priorities quickly, and demonstrate clear and concise communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
