The Collections Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving financial performance by ensuring timely and accurate payment receipt from customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Customer Service, and other departments to foster a culture of open communication and mutual support.
- Effectively manage assigned customer payments to ensure adherence to established terms and cash collection targets.
- Utilize the daily worklist to implement the collection strategy, documenting and escalating unresolved disputes in a timely manner.
- In coordination with the Credit Team, make informed decisions regarding order release/hold.
- Identify and address potential payment concerns and red flags proactively to prevent issues from arising.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, enabling effective process improvement and optimization.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks, driving productivity and change.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
- Fluency in spoken and written English (B2) is required.
- Experience working with collections-related systems (SAP, Oracle, Getpaid, or others) is an asset.
