**Key Responsibilities**
In this role, you will work closely with business and finance leaders to establish, direct, coordinate, and administer a plan for managing all inventory-related topics for Global Inventory COE US. You will provide support to the Sr Manager(s) Inventory Ortho & Spine and Sr Manager Costing/GRNI for guiding the team and all related stakeholders commercially and GQO (if needed).
You will also:
- Support in technical accounting, forecasting, internal control, transitions, and month-end activities.
- Manage direct report(s).
**Month-End Activities**
You will be responsible for ensuring that inventory (and reserves) is correctly valued and controlled and all relevant Corporate Policies are applied. You will analyze and communicate key business drivers to enable functional business leaders to effectively manage their P&L and provide recommendations.
You will also be responsible for:
- Analyzing Inventory and Inventory adjustments; providing information to facilitate business reviews and set requirements from a finance perspective in a timely manner.
- Delivery of monthly business results, including performance to budget and forecast.
- Interpreting and communicating results to senior leadership and proactively recommending opportunities to improve business results.
**Planning and Communication**
You will support the planning process with the divisions on preparing forecast models, consolidations, and coordination of projection calls. You will also:
- Support the Sr. manager for the planning process including support divisions in their forecast models, consolidations, and coordination of projection calls in close collaboration with Divisions/Supply Chain/Suppliers/etc.
**Management Skills**
You will be responsible for Costa Rica team by setting direction, developing talent, and empowering them to assist in their development inventory content wise. You will build, manage, and develop a team of accounting professionals, including setting annual objectives and completing team annual reviews.
**Compliance**
Finance Manager will be support for Internal and External Audits (mainly SOX related). You will ensure all defined controls Inventory related are updated, performed, reviewed, documented, and executed as accurately and timely as possible in close collaboration with the Internal Control team members within Global Inventory COE, our Inventory compliance team, and the Internal Control Department.
**Process Improvements**
You will initiate and drive process improvements and participate in inventory project-related items and actively deliver input, such as further integrations, transitions, and system implementations.
**Requirements**
We are looking for candidates with:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent required (Master's preferred).
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- CPA qualification preferred.
