Job Overview

">

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Manager to join our team. This role will involve managing accounting processes, supervising month-end close activities, and collaborating with various departments and locations.

">

Responsibilities

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

">
  • ">
  • Ensuring timely and quality completion of period close processes">
  • Managing analysis of balance sheet and P&L transactions">
  • Reviewing and approving Account Reconciliations of Intercompany accounts">
  • Supervising month-end close activities and communicating risks and opportunities to Associate Manager">
  • Finding opportunities to improve closing activities and driving process improvement">
  • Taking leadership role for accounting related issues and ensuring company adherence to policies and procedures, US GAAP and local GAAP">
  • Maintaining business partnerships with other client departments, locations and regions, and internal customers/suppliers">
  • Oversseeing and supporting the clerk positions in the team by promoting a team environment and providing work direction and guidance">
  • Completing special projects as assigned">
  • Performing other related work as assigned by management">

Requirements

">

To be considered for this role, you must have:

">
  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance">
  • Proficiency in the English language">
  • Computer Literacy: MS Office, particularly Excel">
  • ERP System (SAP, Oracle or QAD)">
  • 4-5 years of relevant working experience in a finance function in matrixed international company (preferably American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems">
  • Experience of working in a shared service center across a global/large organization will be an added advantage">
