About the Role:

The Lead Financial Analyst will be responsible for executing account reconciliations for assigned entities in Stryker's Costa Rica Shared Service Center and supporting Month End Close activities. Key responsibilities include investigating and resolving unsupported balances, providing journal and reconciliation backup support, and escalating unusual activity to management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform Account Reconciliation for assigned entities
  • Investigate and resolve unsupported balances with main customers
  • Provide support to businesses on requests related to journal/recon backups
  • Escalate any unusual activity or aged items to management
  • Prepare cash flow analysis and FEER reports
  • Financial Statement analysis
  • Prepare inventory calculations (UPI, revenue, E&O reserves)
  • Drive month-end closing process
  • Control and validate WBS activity
  • Comply with Corporate accounting policies, US and local GAAP

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • MS Office Suite proficiency
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish
  • Portuguese is a plus
  • SAP, Oracle, or QAD systems knowledge is desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience in a finance function in a matrixed international company
  • Experience working in a shared service center across a global/large organization is advantageous
