Accounts Receivable Portfolio Manager

About the Role

The Senior Collections Analyst will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment and accurate account reconciliation. This role is part of Stryker's Finance One optimization program in our Costa Rica Shared Service Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively manage a worklist comprised of the most complex accounts in the portfolio">
• Perform complex reporting and month-end reconciliation responsibilities as needed">
• Proactively contact customers to ensure payment as per terms">
• Promptly log and follow-through on disputed balances to resolve and pay them">
• Provide information for reports on delinquent accounts as needed">
• Escalate accounts in delinquency to Management, Credit, and Internal Partners">
• Maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal customers, including Customer Service, Sales, and other departments">
• Identify and address potential problems before they become issues">
• Work with Invoice to Cash teams to resolve operational issues and improve processes">
• Maintain documentation on transactions for review and audit purposes">
• Comply with internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records">

Requirements

This role requires 3-5 years of experience in Business-to-Business collections, preferably in Finance Shared Services Centers, particularly in American or multinational companies. Relevant experience in SAP and Oracle, as well as proficiency in MS Office Suite, is highly valued. A technical degree or equivalent education, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, is necessary for success in this position.
