The Role of an Accounts Receivable Specialist:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing, recording, verifying, analyzing, and reporting accounts receivable transactions on a timely basis. You will also maintain and reconcile accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, records, verifies, analyzes, and reports accounts receivable transactions
  • Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports
  • Develops, directs, plans, and evaluates accounts receivable policies and procedures
  • Ensures external and internal controls and policies are adhered to
  • Produces reports of accounts that are in arrears and analyses of bad debt
  • Prepares analyses and reconciliations of bill runs to detect fraud

We are looking for highly analytical problem solvers who can identify root causes, evaluate optimal solutions, and recommend comprehensive upgrades to prevent future issues. You should be goal-oriented, collaborative, dedicated, and detail-oriented. Additionally, you should have a basic understanding of work routines and procedures in your discipline and be able to work within well-defined procedures that may involve a variety of work routines.

Requirements and Qualifications:

This position requires a minimum of 2 or more years of experience in a similar role. You should have knowledge acquired through experience, specialized education, or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making.
