Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing account reconciliations for assigned entities, investigating and resolving unsupported balances, and providing support to business on request related to journal/recon backups.
You will also be expected to escalate any unusual activity or aged items to management, enabling a proactive response to potential risks and related losses. Additionally, you will perform financial statement analysis, prepare journal entries calculations, and complete the month-end closing process as necessary.
In this role, you will be required to comply with Corporate accounting policies, US and local GAAP. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and must be able to adapt to a quickly changing environment.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or a related field. You must have intermediate Excel level skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and charts. Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish is also required.
A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a finance/accounting function in a matrixed international company, preferably with complex reporting practices and exposure to various reporting systems, is essential. Experience working in a shared service center across a global/large organization is a plus.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including development opportunities, training, certifications, mentorship, leadership programs, tuition reimbursement, and one-on-one coaching.
