Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dynamics BC Technical Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert technical support to customers, partners, and field engineers who are diagnosing and troubleshooting complex computer systems, software, and networked systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review complex issues and collaborate with customers to understand their problems.
  • Utilize troubleshooting tools such as event logs, performance traces, and SysInternals tools to help resolve customer issues.
  • Resolve customer issues through problem-solving, collaboration, and research.
  • Document technical work and research for future reference.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve moderately complex customer issues.

Readiness and Product Improvement:

  • Assist in implementing end-to-end readiness programs, including mentoring, knowledge sharing, and technical document creation.
  • Develop readiness content and mentor new Technical Support Engineers.
  • Provide feedback to more senior engineers and the product group on functionality of products based on customer engagements.
  • Identify potential defects and escalate to more senior engineers to resolve.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in ERP systems like Dynamics, SAP, PeopleSoft, NetSuite ERP, Oracle ERP Cloud, Epicor, and/or related.
  • Preference given to those with existing Dynamics BC (Business Central) experience.
  • Strong understanding of SysInternals tools, programming skills, IIS, network debugging skills, data management, migration concepts, operating systems, Microsoft SQL, and Active Directory.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship skills proven through work experience.
  • Lifelong learning and personal and professional development passion.
