Technical Support Specialist

Overview
We're seeking a customer-oriented technical support engineer to work on behalf of our client to resolve complex customer cases. As part of the Azure Platform Technical Support team, you will work with customers to resolve software issues, collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role is expected to take cases escalated by customers and/or Level 1 Support Engineers and provide quick and accurate support.
Responsibilities
This role focuses on providing exceptional customer support, not on hands-on development. You will work as part of a highly collaborative team to solve intermediate and complex technical problems for medium and large companies. Your responsibilities will include providing technical guidance across teams, maintaining documentation for all cases, and mentoring junior support engineers as needed.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background, be proficient in IT or technical work, and have a good understanding of data bases and virtualization. You should also be proficient in programming languages such as C++/C#/JAVA/Python and have knowledge of the objects-oriented paradigm. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, be customer-obsessed, take the initiative, and exceed expectations.
