You will be responsible to support a variety of ServiceNow Discovery/CMDB administration tasks.
You will implement, support, and enhance ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB.
Additionally you will collaborate with Business partners in order to increase the efficiency of our process and accuracy of data.

**What you'll do**:

- Work with process owners to engineer holistic solutions.
- Implement and support out of box and custom patterns to discover on premise and cloud infrastructure.
- Create and use reports and dashboards to monitor the health of the CMDB.
- Works with CI Data Owners and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of the CMDB data is maintained and all CIs are up to date.
- Establishes and maintains discovery schedules.
Monitors discovery results, reconciling and addressing any anomalies.
- May participate in projects including preparing project plans, assigning tasks, monitoring statuses, coordinating efforts, validating team recommendations, integrating efforts into a comprehensive strategy and delivering results on time.
Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements, flow charts and technical diagrams.
- Assist in the entry and validation of configuration item data into the CMDB using ServiceNow Discovery tools.
- Work closely with senior analysts to conduct data accuracy audits, ensuring the CMDB reflects the most current state of our IT environment.
- Participate in training programs to develop a solid understanding of ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery processes.
- Rotational on-call (1 week every 6 weeks, if necessary)

**What experience you need**:

- Bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent to experience
- 2 years experience in an **IT Infrastructure role**
- 2 years experience in analysis, troubleshooting, technical and non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written
- 2 years experience with **Windows Server administration **, Active Directory, LDAP, Single-Sign-on, authentication, user and group policy objects, and permission levels OR Knowledge of UNIX or Linux Server administration, including user permission levels, SUDO virtualization, including VMware, containerization, and Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- 2 years experience with **IP Networks, subnets and related network knowledge**

**What could set you apart**:

- **Active Cloud Certification strongly preferred**
- Experience with Public Cloud environments, AWS, AZURE and GCP
- Solid communication skills including strong verbal presentation skills.
Ability to communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and able to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Hands on experience in ServiceNow Discovery/CMDB solution design & configuration.
- Scripting using JavaScript, Groovy, PowerShell, Bash, RegEx, SQL, etc.
