Service Desk; Technical Services 1 LOCATION: Canada
I. JOB SUMMARY Perform a variety of computer and network problem analysis and monitoring tasks for the Corporate IT (CIT) Service Desk; triage problems to appropriate technical staff; log, coordinate and track requests for assistance related to CIT-supported systems as a primary user contact. II. JOB RELATIONSHIPS
A. Reports to: Manager, Technical Services 1 B. Interrelationships: Develop relationships and interact regularly with staff.
III. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES A. Perform initial problem analysis and triage problem to CIT technical staff when appropriate. B. Maintain liaison with network users and technical staff to communicate the status of problem resolution
to network users. C. Log and track requests for assistance related to CIT-supported systems. D. Participate in the preparation of procedure manuals and documentation for Technical Services use. E. Participate in the distribution of network related information to users to include information such as help
desk procedures and network handbooks. F. Assist in the development of a comprehensive training plan for help desk procedures. G. Assist in training CIT personnel providing backup coverage. H. Assist in on-site installations of network systems for users. I. Perform other related duties
incidental to the work described herein.

IV. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Hardware/Software experience with PC’s, laptops and printers in a Microsoft Windows environment. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems Strong knowledge of Office 365 Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to prioritize effectively and to perform proactively. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
