Our mission is to empower Sellers to thrive on Amazon. Through the Amazon Marketplace, we offer individuals and businesses the opportunity to sell their products on our platform. With over a million sellers globally, we contribute significantly to Amazon's success. ISS is dedicated to helping independent sellers grow and expand both domestically and internationally by providing the best tools to enhance their catalog across multiple marketplaces, optimize their return on investment by enrolling products in suitable programs (e.g., Fulfilled by Amazon), and offering solutions for entering new markets.

Our team in Costa Rica is committed to providing Sellers with the essential support needed to leverage these tools, focusing on catalog optimization, global expansion, and program adoption (e.g., Fulfilled by Amazon), while also gathering feedback to continuously enhance the experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with sellers and account managers to advocate for our product needs.
  • Facilitate the growth of Sellers' businesses by expanding selection and programs, emphasizing seller insights and feedback to refine our offerings.
  • Support critical improvement initiatives and projects: drive new product launches and relationship expansions by collaborating with business development and onboarding teams.
  • Work alongside Sellers to enhance operational aspects of their businesses, ensuring an exceptional consumer experience.
  • Identify specific prospects/partners to approach, articulating the unique value proposition for their business and establishing long-term, successful partnerships.
  • Monitor and report performance using relevant metrics, achieving productivity and seller satisfaction targets.
A Day in the Life

On a daily basis, you will interact with sellers and/or Amazon Account Managers through calls and emails to gather feedback on our products, promote adoption, and ensure our user experience is consistently improving.

Additionally, you may contribute to the team's strategic alignment by proposing new features and innovations, ensuring our team is responsive to market trends.

About the Team

The International Seller Services organization develops solutions that empower sellers worldwide, including the software platform and applications that facilitate demand generation, customer acquisition, seller integration, customer relationship management, and order management functions necessary for sellers to manage their online businesses on Amazon.

Basic Qualifications

Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in Buying, Merchandising, Planning, or relevant experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Management Consulting, or similar fields involving negotiation, nurturing, and expanding customer relationships.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Goal Attainment: Proven success in identifying business opportunities for clients and enhancing the adoption and utilization of company products.

  • Relationship Development: Demonstrated ability to build and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, driving collaborative decisions, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Data Analysis: Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities. Utilizes data analysis, reporting, and forecasting to inform business decisions.

Planning: Proven track record of developing business plans with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is encouraged and ambiguity is commonplace.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in E-Commerce, Corporate Retail, Consulting, or B2B.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective territory/account management, with strategy development encompassing multi-phase execution and delivery: planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and executive communication, needs analysis, value engineering, services/partner engagement, opportunity management, and negotiation.
  • Familiarity with analytical, account management, and productivity tools including Oracle Business Intelligence, CRM tools like Salesforce, Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suites.
