About the Role:

The Senior Collections Analyst will be responsible for managing a highly complex A/R portfolio, ensuring timely payment of open receivables, accurate account reconciliation, and effective escalation of unpaid past-due balances. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage a worklist comprising the portfolio's most complex accounts.
  • Take on complex reporting and month-end reconciliation responsibilities as needed.
  • Effectively contact customers to ensure payment as per the terms.
  • Promptly log and follow through on disputed balances.
  • Coordinate with the Credit Team to take order release/hold decisions.
  • Proactively escalate delinquent accounts to Management, Credit Risk, and Internal Partners.
  • Contribute to accurate customer master data elements.
  • Train, lead, and inspire Junior analysts and shared best practices.
  • Promote strong collaborative relationships with internal customers.
  • Perform reconciliation of accounts to resolve problems and related collection efforts.
  • Identify, recognize, and address red flags before they become problems.
  • Proactively and timely escalate large collection or reconciliation issues.
  • Work with other Invoice to Cash teams to resolve operational issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain documentation on transactions to facilitate reviewing and auditing books and records.
  • Comply with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records.

Requirements:

  • Preferably have a technical degree or at least 2 years of university studies, ideally in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Adequate use of the MS Office Suite; intermediate Excel is required.
  • C1 level English; other languages are a plus.
  • Relevant experience on SAP and Oracle; GETPAID is preferably.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Business-to-Business collections.
  • Relevant experience in Finance Shared Services Centers, preferably in American or Multinational companies.
