Polar Travel Sales Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Polar Travel Sales professional to join our team at Quark Expeditions. As a Polar Travel Sales professional, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets while maintaining outstanding customer service KPIs.
  • Convert sales leads and opportunities, upsell, and cross-sell available products.
  • Offer and sell all ancillary products, such as pre- and post-trip services, flights, and insurance.
  • Manage relationships by connecting, converting, customizing, and retaining clients.
  • Engage in outbound relationship calling to travel agents and other prospect lists.
  • Listen and ask the right questions to discover the needs of each individual traveler.
  • Provide a trip of a lifetime and excellent customer service.
  • Answer customer post-sales inquiries via phone and live chat outside of business hours.
  • Follow and accurately execute the established Sales framework.
  • Maintain high scoring on call observation/scoring sheet.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate notes in the Salesforce CRM for a successful transition to the Client Service team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in front-line sales within the travel industry.
  • Experience selling adventure or polar expeditions is a definite asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Prior Customer Support and/or Customer Success experience.
  • Ability to take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • German or French is considered a definite asset.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Experience with different reservation systems and CRM/Sales Force preferable.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish relationships, confidence, and a self-starter.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong Team-oriented personality.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as required to support the needs of customers.
