The Opportunity

As a Polar Travel Sales Advisor at Quark Expeditions, you will be part of a dynamic sales culture where you can showcase your skills in prospecting, upselling, and cross-selling to our esteemed clientele. Your mission will be to drive results against targets, elevating our top-line growth while delivering outstanding customer service that goes above and beyond.

You will collaborate closely with our Global Customer Services team to curate unforgettable experiences for travelers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet and exceed monthly sales targets while prioritizing outstanding customer service.
  2. Convert sales leads promptly and adeptly, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  3. Maximize revenue through upselling and cross-selling our diverse product offerings.
  4. Initiate outbound relationship calls to travel agents and prospect lists, fostering valuable connections.
  5. Engage with travelers to discern their unique needs, ensuring each journey is perfectly tailored.
  6. Navigate the sales process seamlessly, adhering to established frameworks and processes.
  7. Provide post-sales support via phone and live chat, ensuring a smooth customer journey.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of frontline sales experience in a revenue-driven environment, preferably within travel or sales.
  • Proficiency in both French and English.
  • A proactive approach to customer interactions, demonstrating initiative and expertise.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in computer programs, with experience in reservation systems and CRM tools preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proven track record of cross-selling to customers.
  • Resilient with a passion for sales, customer service, and travel.
  • Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.
