Salary

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $109,200 to $158,250 per annum, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.

Job Description

This strategic business development specialist role will be responsible for supporting the business during the presales process through to successful closure of deals. The responsibilities involve working with other sales colleagues and other internal stakeholders to drive the sales process for a set of complex products or services, including growing the client base, assisting the sales team during the process for new business generation, providing expert knowledge on Zm Financial Systems' compliance solutions, and leading effective product demonstrations and proof-of-concept exercises.

  • Build and execute on sales strategies to meet or exceed annual sales goals and targets that align with the company's vision and objectives.
  • Work with sales colleagues and other internal stakeholders to drive the proof of concept (POC) process in the sales cycle.
  • Support the development of new business within assigned territories.
  • Partner with Sales Specialists to develop clear, concise proposals and deliver targeted client demos that address client needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • An undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor's degree) required, with coursework in business, economics, finance, marketing or related fields.
  • 10+ years' experience working in direct business-to-business sales roles, product roles, or sales engineering roles, with a focus on serving financial services and/or corporate customers.
  • Ability to provide detailed demonstrations of products & services.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance such as AML, KYC, and Sanctions Compliance is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact with senior executives both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail.
