Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Marriott International, Inc.

About the Role:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for proactively soliciting and managing opportunities with significant revenue potential for hotels in Costa Rica.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Understand market opportunities and generate income by targeting accounts, marketplaces, or wholesale/electronic channel/ travel agency segments.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop effective sales plans and actions to maximize revenue by selling additional packages.
  • Relationship Building: Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients to enable future bookings.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to increase account engagement and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skill Set: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; strong knowledge of hotel operations and sales strategies.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses up to 20% of annual salary.
