Job Overview:

TD SYNNEX is seeking a Client Account Specialist who can achieve outstanding results while delivering top-notch customer service to our partners. In this role, you will be responsible for managing specific, designated accounts, ensuring daily communication and proactive engagement to drive revenue and profitability. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to navigate complex customer challenges and elevate their sales career as a Client Account Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee customer and territory profit and loss, demonstrating analytical skills to effectively manage growth and profitability within the assigned area.
  • Generate new business opportunities through both inbound and outbound communication.
  • Collaborate with the field sales team to respond to requests for proposals, deliver account proposals, and conduct quarterly business reviews.
  • Identify potential growth avenues through market research and implement strategic growth initiatives for the sales territory.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of customers within the assigned territory, fostering relationships at various organizational levels, including purchasing, sales, and operations. Work closely with vendor management to drive and achieve objectives.
  • Develop and sustain detailed account profiles for each customer, identifying opportunities to introduce additional TD SYNNEX solutions as appropriate.
  • Recognize potential challenges and communicate them promptly to the Inside Account Executive or Senior Inside Account Executive.
  • Create written documentation and procedures for assigned sales accounts, delegating routine tasks to internal TD SYNNEX support teams.
  • Attend TD SYNNEX and industry events as necessary.
  • Work with sales support to ensure timely and accurate processing of quotes and orders.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers at all levels.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of TD SYNNEX strategies and initiatives, articulating the value proposition to the customer base.
  • Utilize project management skills to fulfill customer requests efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to follow instructions and seek clarification when necessary.
  • Strong data entry capabilities.
  • Proficient in complex problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fluency in English and other local or regional languages.
  • Skilled in negotiation and persuasive communication.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Adaptable to change and able to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure and managing high workloads and deadlines.
  • Committed to maintaining ethical and organizational standards in all business activities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in multitasking.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Skilled in building solid, effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs and concerns of others.
  • Intermediate proficiency in relevant computer systems and applications.

Work Environment:

  • Professional office setting.

Travel may be required (up to 25%).
