**Account Development Specialist**
At Expedia Partner Solutions, we're looking for a skilled Account Development Specialist to join our team. As an Associate Account Manager, you will be responsible for onboarding, developing, and maintaining a high-quality portfolio of hotels and property products for our global customer base.
This role is the core of our Market Management team, ensuring that Expedia Group brands find the most suitable properties for our customers' dream trips. You will work closely with hotel partners to effectively reach our global traveler demand throughout the year.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Begins developing relationships with customers and their account teams, including key buyers/decision makers.
- Assists in creating opportunities to build customer accounts.
- Develops an understanding of customers' business issues through appropriate organization channels.
- Recommends products, services, and insights that meet customer needs.
- Conducts basic account planning to acquire and/or maintain business.
- Acquires a basic understanding of our department's operations and the larger organization.
- Develops awareness of policies, practices, trends, and competitor information that impact our organization and customers.
**Requirements:**
- Proficiency in English and local language of the market(s).
- Growing knowledge of sales techniques.
- Proficient communication skills.
- 1-2 years' experience.
- Approximately 20-30% travel for market visits as per business requirements.
