As a key player in this transformation, the Account Executive plays a vital role in realizing customers' potential and leading the transition to a mobile-first and cloud-first organization.

This role focuses on increasing revenue and enhancing customer satisfaction through senior account management, working closely with Microsoft Partners within designated territories. The Account Executive develops and maintains strong customer relationships, including executive-level connections and other key decision-makers. This unique position effectively leverages technology and virtual sales teams to build robust relationships with accounts, while also collaborating with Microsoft Partners to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
    • Establishes and maintains customer engagements
    • Maximizes value of customer contact
    • Documents and synthesizes customer contacts for maximum effectiveness
    • Coaches others on customer relationships and engagement
  • ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
    • Attends to and proactively addresses contract renewals
    • Educates customers on available licensing platforms
    • Presents licensing fundamentals in conversations with customers
    • Identifies opportunities to consolidate SKUs and/or cross-sells and upsells in accordance with customer priorities and outcomes
  • PERFORMANCE DIRECTION
    • Determines priority and depth for each account in portfolio
    • Marshals resources to develop plan to execute against prioritization
    • Determines plan to meet or exceed quota based on customer analysis and available resources

Requirements and Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly analytical and organized, and have experience in sales and account management. Strong understanding of Microsoft products and services is essential. A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Microsoft offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
