The role of Customer Service Specialist I involves offering initial technical support for products and services, collaborating with customers and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Familiarity with Syniverse's offerings is essential, along with the ability to address customer needs promptly.

Responsibilities Overview

Scope of the Role:

Direct Reports: This position is an independent role without direct reports

Key Duties

​Analyze and resolve customer inquiries, addressing system malfunctions swiftly to exceed customer expectations. Keep track of customer-reported issues following established procedures. Collaborate with internal teams and 2nd level support for issue resolution. Ensure timely response and resolution based on severity levels and Expected Completion Dates. Maintain seamless communication with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Identify training needs and stay updated on products, services, enhancements, and upgrades. Achieve individual/team objectives. Complete various administrative tasks (e.g., time reporting, email management).

Background, Education, and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, a degree in communication or business will be advantageous. No prior experience necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service skills are preferred. Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Additional Skills Required:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently, including off-peak hours, weekends, and holidays. Proactive in anticipating and fulfilling customer needs. Ability to work in shifts covering 24/7/365.
