About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in our Ticket Sales department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Service: Promote and sell air travel with American Airlines, prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets.
  • Customer Support: Answer inquiries regarding general travel information, resolve customer complaints, and provide assistance with travel-related issues.
  • Revenue Management: Reconcile auditors' coupons with cash received, personal checks, and credit card vouchers, calculate total revenue received, and maintain accurate records.
  • Operational Efficiency: Work independently or as part of a team to achieve sales and customer service goals, meet productivity standards, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service, sales, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in computer applications and software.
  • Certifications and Training: Must meet public contact profile requirements and complete any necessary training programs.
