Customer Development Management Traditional Channel

Although in Costa Rica, Modern Trade is taking relevance on a yearly basis, Traditional trade remains above 45% Nielsen ACV and it has the biggest number of outlets, with a considerable dispersion. The main opportunity lies in how to capitalize and develop the distributor capabilities to generate preference, coverage, distribution, and visibility of our brands in a profitable matter.
The role is responsible for delivering sales channel results, by defining the strategy to achieve a profitable growth path. It also engages with multiple partners (internal and external) in a collaborative manner to drive category growth with our customers, providing solutions and alternatives to business development.
**What are we looking for?**:
- A sales team leader with vast experience leading teams in the traditional channel. Comfortable working with the distributor, able to improve channel capabilities and defining the right strategy to win in the traditional channel.
**What will be your key responsibilities?**:
- ** Portfolio Management**:Ensuring & recommending the right products, in the right place, at the right time with 100% Focus on Core & their Numeric Distribution Increasing.
- ** Budget Controls**:Manage & Recommend Trade investments only with healthy ROIs to ensure long term brand building aligned to market strategy. Ensure Healthy 8 week inventory levels in Distributor Warehouse.
- ** Business Planning & Development**:Ability to proactively anticipate channel and market dynamics by having multiple contingency plans available to ensure sales maintain pace & don’t suffer.
- ** Perfect Store**:Lead the program in TT to ensure sustainability of distribution model. Complement data tracking with collaborative trade visits with sales team. Focus on defining and tracking the right set of KPIs to ensure continuous improvement and better execution.
- ** Customer Relationships**:Able to relate to people at all levels in the organization to build and manage internal/external relationships involving all stakeholders**.**:
- ** Numerical approach**:Able to use Nielsen & Sell-Out Data for Fact-Based arguments & go beyond with shopper insights that can help transform the business
- ** Distributor Sales Management**:Coordinate/Develop/Track specific sales KPI plans for Supervisors and Merchandisers by Distributor zone to ensure results are aligned to market brand strategy. Develop distributor supervisors on leadership skills and vision for the TT channel
