Job Summary

The AVP - Employee Relations is a senior-level role responsible for providing expert guidance and support to management and HR teams on employment matters in the LATAM region. This includes performance management, disciplinary actions, investigations, reductions-in-force, and other ER-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice and expertise to management and HR teams on ER-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
  • Develop and implement culturally appropriate employee relations policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure operational consistency by monitoring and reviewing formal documentation and strategies for responding to ER inquiries.
  • Develop approaches for managing complex, ambiguous, or escalated ER issues, and determine when to escalate cases to relevant HR Regional and Talent Partners.
Requirements

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in employee relations and HR. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Typically 6-8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to resolve conflicts and diffuse employee-related issues, concerns, and situations.
  • Familiarity with dispersed workforce management and experience with HR technologies.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.

Maintenance of competitive salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 annual salary estimate based on location and industry standards.
