We are seeking a skilled Delinquent Account Recovery Lead to join our team at Equifax. As a key member of our collections department, you will be responsible for analyzing complex delinquent customer issues, developing effective solutions, and implementing action plans to resolve delinquencies.
Your expertise will enable the negotiation and advising on overdue bill collections, taking necessary steps to recover payments, and identifying and solving complex problems with minimal precedent. You will make decisions based on your experience and insights gained through accepted ways of accomplishing work that may not be formally documented.
You will be involved in various aspects of collections management, including month-end closing activities, updating SOP collections, coordinating billing disputes resolutions, and driving collection calls with sales leaders. Your success will contribute to our group's results and efficiency.
To succeed in this role, you will need 5 years of experience in collections as a senior or team lead, vocational training, internships, or equivalent experience in F&A areas. Proficiency in Excel (90%) and fluency in English and Spanish are also required.
