IT Advisor Position

ATSG Corporation is seeking a highly skilled IT Advisor to join our team in San Jose, Costa Rica. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our partnership with the U.S. Department of State (DOS) Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs' (INL) on the Central America Regional Security Initiative (CARSI) - Costa Rica task order.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the ATSG team and our government partners.
  • Collaborate with the INL team to identify and implement effective solutions to address the security challenges in the region.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and international partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest information technologies, hardware, software, upgrades, updates, and compatibility issues.
  • Recommend and implement applicable changes or modifications to ensure the effective use of technology in the region.
Requirements
  • Local National (LN) status.
  • RSO Clearance for foreign nationals.
  • FSI level 3/3 Spanish and English language proficiency.
  • Experience briefing in Spanish and English.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or ten years of work experience may be substituted for the degree.
  • Five years of IT/helpdesk experience is required.
  • Two years of experience with Microsoft Server and SQL applications.
  • Two years of experience in IT management is desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, MS Project, and internally developed databases.
  • Proficient in databases knowledge, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, web development, and integration, and languages, HTML, PHP, SharePoint, Flash, and Silverlight.
